Description
This is a section of left lung, showing multiple miliary nodules 2-3 mm in diameter. In several
places the nodules have become confluent. The disease also involved liver, spleen, kidneys and
adrenals.
History
This patient was a known diabetic with hypertension, gout and renal failure. In his final
illness, he presented with a right pleural effusion.
